Another waterspout (a tornado over water) was taking shape over the sea of Hvarski Kanal (the sea channel between the islands of Brac and Hvar) on August 6, 2006, this time much close to the seashore of Grabov Rat. However, it failed at the moment it was about to pull up some sea water. The diameter of the funnel decreased to a size significantly less than what is seen on the photo on the right but I did not capture it close to the moment of failure - I was expecting it would shape all the way.
